In 1996, as a 2-year-old Florida-bred colt, Red Bow Tie established a new worlds
record of 1:52.3 on a 5/8 mile track at Pompano Park, Florida. As a 3-year-old in 1997,
the dominating colt paced a 1:50 flat.
Total earnings as of May 25, 2002 were $2,673,920.
Red Bow Tie was offered at an FSBOA
auction in 1995. The colt could have been purchased at a very reasonable price but, there
were NO takers!
