2008 Registered Standardbred Stallions 
and breeding opportunities in Florida

       Florida-bred stake purses are at their highest level ever, and with the introduction of slot machines promise to increase in the future. The FSBOA registers approximately 150 foals each year and this offers the small breeder with a quality mare the opportunity to breed a stakes winner.
    Of equal importance is the fact that Florida is one of the few states to offer annual Breeder Awards, paying in excess of $230,000 to breeder's of Florida-bred horses racing at (five-years-old or less) Pompano.

 The variety of registered stallions in 2008 features many established sires along with the addition of young sires with some of the most sought after bloodlines in the world.
IMPORTANT: Semen transport is available from many Florida Stallions and, unless otherwise noted, all foals will be eligible for nomination to the Florida Breeders program.
